Baking Day, October 12 - 18

So the stocking the freezer idea is definitely something that Eric and I can agree on doing to save some extra money.

We have made the following items this week:

2 baking pans of meatloaf
We used the following ingredients: 3 pounds of Venison Hamburger, 1 onion, 2 cups of breadcrumbs, (I don't use egg in my meatloaf and it turns out fine), 1/2 container of ketchup. We froze one and ate the other throughout the week.

Meat spaghetti sauce.
Use used the following ingredients: 3 pounds of Venison Hamburger, three cans of spaghetti sauce, spices. We froze all the sauce for times when we don't have the ambition to cook. We split the amount into four freezer bags.

The rest of the goals for the week are as follows:

Going to try to make pita bread so we don't need to survive on just homemade bread and store bought bread. (need a little variety every once in a while since I have now given up my Sara Lee honey wheat bread)

Cinnamon Rolls
Monkey Break
more homemade bread
calzone/pizza dough
and some cookies (no specific kinds yet)
